PACV (Parent and Carer Voice)

Want to know more about what goes on in school ?

Want to get together with other parents ?

Want to talk about the things that matter to you?

We need parent representatives for each class to come along to monthly meetings to share views, concerns and ideas.   If you would like to represent your child's class, please speak to your class teacher.

For more information talk to your class teacher, Mrs Butler, Mrs Lowell or Mrs Hill.

Next meeting is on Wednesday 14th September 2016 at 2.15pm.

Our achievements so far

  • PACV has met five times since January 2016.
  • Parents have expressed their views about school issues affecting their children.
  • These views have been fed back to staff at staff meetings.
  • The groups praised the summer clubs, open mornings, Llanrug yr 6 residential trip, after school clubs, school council, STARS after school club.
  • The group met with Mrs Jones, the English co-ordinator to discuss reading and spelling provision in school. The parents gave their views to Mrs Jones who was happy to listen and discuss their ideas.
  • Parents met with Mr Crumpton, caretaker to express their concerns regarding road safety on site. Mr Crumpton explained the development of an automatic entrance gate and the role of the governors in making this decision.
  • Parents asked for a celebration for Mothers' Day.  Charlotte Jeynes listened and then planned and held a very well attended aftenoon tea on Fridy 4th March.
